Dental Health


Dental Health can be defined as a science and practice of preventing oral diseases, promoting oral health, and improving quality of life through organized effects of the society. Dental Health aims to promote the health of the population and therefore focuses action at a community level. This is in contrast with clinical practice which operates at an individual level.



It is a non-clinical branch of the dentistry. It mainly involved in the assessment of key dental health needs and coming up with effective solutions to improve the dental health of populations.
